The
principal officer of Sandler Southwest is Neal Cukerbaum, who has been
actively involved in commercial real estate development for more than
twenty years.
Prior to becoming president of Sandler Southwest, Mr.
Cukerbaum was senior vice president and principal in charge of
commercial development and operations for Paragon Group from 1987 to
1995. While at Paragon he was involved in the acquisition and/or
development of more than fifty-five retail projects and office
buildings throughout the United States. From 1979 to 1987 Mr. Cukerbaum
was president and managing partner of Cambridge Commercial. During his
eight years at Cambridge he oversaw the development, leasing, and
management of more than thirty-five shopping centers and five office
projects in Texas.
Mr. Cukerbaum is a graduate of the Wharton School of the
University of Pennsylvania and the University of Texas School of Law.
He also received his CPA certification and is a CSM and CLS. In
addition to being a member of the State Bar of Texas, he is a past
state director of, and is actively involved in the International
Council of Shopping Centers, as well as numerous other real estate
organizations.
