Neal Cukerbaum, the
principal officer of Sandler Southwest, is a 30-year veteran of commercial real estate, with a unique talent for recognizing and seizing unconventional opportunities.
Neal developed this knack for seeing potential that others miss during his tenure as Senior Vice President and Principal in Charge of Commercial Development and Operations for Paragon Group from 1987 co 1995. While at Paragon, he was involved with identifying, analyzing and acquiring and/or redeveloping more than 55 retail and office properties throughout the United States. Prior to that, Neal spent eight years at the helm of Cambridge Commercial where he oversaw more than 35 office and retail property developments in Texas, and a staff of over 50 real estate professionals. Neal is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Texas School of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the State Bar of Texas, former state director of the International Council of Shopping Centers, an active member in several real estate organizations, and a pretty good golfer.
